Common Misconceptions
1. "But if I purchase a Starter Kit and gain "Distributor" status, this means I need to sell YL products!"
If you only want to become a member to buy products for yourself and your household at wholesale price - that's totally fine! I did this for 5 years and no one from YL pressured me into selling or enrolling in their monthly subscription program (Essential Rewards).

2. "This seems like such a big commitment, I don't want to have to buy oils every month!"
If the only purchase you make this year is the starter kit (CAUTION: this is highly unlikely because you will fall in love with the products) that's perfectly fine! There are no minimum monthly purchases required but if you find that you are buying products regularly, they have an amazing monthly subscription box called Essential Rewards.

3. "Ok. But what if I enroll in Essential Rewards and then want to cancel or pause it for a few months? I would have to pay a fee or penalty!!"
Wrong again! Essential Rewards is a month to month service, and there's never a cancellation fee. I have to caution you though when you start receiving free products, tons of rewards points, and notice how different you and your household will feel after switching to natural products, you will be hooked!

Choose your kit! I highly recommend starting with the Premium Starter Kit. I have the Desert Mist Diffuser and it is gorgeous, but you really can't go wrong with whichever one you choose.

Decide if you want to enroll in the Essential Rewards (ER) program. I highly suggest enrolling in the program and here is why. First of all, you can choose to make your starter kit the first ER purchase, which means you are set for the month. By signing up in the program, you automatically get $10 back in store credit, which you can apply on your next month's purchase. I can almost guarantee there will be a next month's purchase, which is why ER is a no brainer. You will want to buy the products you have sampled, or a cute diffuser for your kid's room, experiment with other EOs, etc. All the while earning reward points, free products, etc. If after a couple of months, you feel like you have a pretty solid "arsenal", you can cancel at any time!
