What is Karuna?
In B. K. S. Iyengar’s book Light on Yoga, he defines Karuna as “compassion coupled with devoted action." In the same book he expands on the term "She shares her strength with the weak until they become strong. She shares her courage with those that are timid until they become brave by her example. She becomes a shelter to one and all.”

This is what I seek to do at Karuna Healing Space. Create a shelter for all. A place you come to when you need support, when you need to be heard. Whether you are recovering from dis-ease, from a big transition in your life, or from loss; if you feel defeated, overwhelmed, helpless – I am here for you.
